The VMware Certified Design Expert - Data Center Virtualization 2024 (VCDX-DCV 2024) certification validates an individual's advanced knowledge and skills in gathering and interpreting requirements, planning, creating, documenting, testing and defending an implementable VMware vSphere-based design that meets customer objectives and constraints. This certification is intended for experienced professionals who are experts in data center virtualization technologies. Job-roles associated with this certification include solution architects, design architects, and consultants.

| STEP 6: Successfully defend your submitted design against three panelists (75 minutes) and design a solution to a randomly provided scenario (45 minutes). |
